The Samsung announced a new tablet named Samsung Galaxy TAB 4 10.1. This tablet comes with Quad Core processor and hence, this tablet is suitable for Gaming and Multi-tasking. This tablet is available in two colors namely Black and White. This tablet is in the form of bar(form factor). This tablet comes with 4G.

DESIGN:

This tablet comes with a stylish design with a big display. The TFT capacitive touchscreen display of Samsung Galaxy TAB 4 10.1 comes with 10.1 inch with 149 ppi pixel density and 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. The tablet comes with multitouch. This tablet has dimensions of 243.4 x 176.4 x 8 mm and 487g in weight. The WXGA TFT display delivers a brighter picture clarity. This display can reproduce upto 16 million colors. The light sensor associated with the display control the brightness of this display automatically.

CAMERA:

The Samsung Galaxy TAB 4 10.1 is powered by 3MP camera ,by which we can capture clear and stunning images. The 3MP primary camera comes Geo-tagging, Photo Editing, Sharing Capabilities{Buddy photo share, Share via} and Shot Modes{ Auto, Night, Sports, Panorama, Sound & Shot, Beauty face}.The primary camera produce clear and stunning pictures with a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. The 3MP primary camera is capable of taking Full HD video at 720p@30fps. The secondary camera comes with 1.3 MP and is capable of recording video. Hence with this front camera, we can able to make video calls. The front camera and the secondary camera of this tablet does not support LED flash. Zoom option is available with the primary camera of this device.

MULTIMEDIA

This video playing formats supported in this device are MP4, 3GP, FLV, WMV, ASF, AVI, MKV, WEBM and audio playing formats supported are MP3, AAC, OGG, M4A, 3GA, WAV, WMA, FLAC. This device supports voice calling and also it supports video calling which provides face to face interaction with the help of secondary camera. The browser installed in this device supports HTML5.

HARDWARE :

The Samsung Galaxy TAB 4 10.1 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Chip. The 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor of this device gives a smooth experience and adapt itself to give a better multi-tasking. The graphics and picture quality of this device is enhanced with Adreno 305 Graphics processor. This tab comes with 1.5 GB RAM and the internal memory is available in 16GB. The storage can be extended up to 64 GB through the microSD card slot. With this 64 GB of expandable storage we can able to install and download lots of app data, movies, pictures, music files, etc. With 1.5 GB of RAM, we can able to HD games without any loss in frame rate. The Samsung Galaxy TAB 4 10.1 is inbuilt with Accelerometer and light sensor. FM Radio is not available in this device. It has 3.5mm earjack. This device has a larger Li-ion 6800mAh battery and this provides a good talk time , standby time and a good internet usage time.

SOFTWARE FEATURES:

This tablet runs with Android v 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and this gives better multitasking between different apps and Perform tasks using voice commands by saying “Okay Google. Some other important features are Photo viewer,Photo editor,Organizer ,Predictive text input, Document viewer and Document editor.Some of the preinstalled applications in this tablet are Play books, Play Games, Play Newsstand, Play Movies & TV, Play Music, Drive, Google setting, Photos, Chrome, Gmail, Google Search, Maps, Play Store, Voice Search, YouTube, Google+, Hangouts, etc.

CONNECTIVIY

This device comes with Bluetooth 4.0 with Bluetooth profiles HSP, A2DP, PAN(PANU Only), AVRCP, OPP, HID, DI, HOGP and this provides a faster file transfer. It has micro USB v 2.0 and it provides file transfer to PC via data cable and also it provides USB charging. With USB Tethering in this device, we can enable internet in PC from this device via USB data cable. It has 802.11 a/b/g/n 2.4+5GHz , HT40 connectivity and it is also having Wi-Fi Direct which enables devices to connect easily with one another for everything from file transfer to Internet connectivity. Infrared port is available in this device. It gives high speed internet in both 3G and 4G mode. It has A-GPS(Global Positioning System) and GLONASS which provides navigation system based on satellite that provides time information and whether condition based on different location.
