The Micromax announced a new smartphone named Micromax Canvas Win W121 that runs with Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 Operating System. This smartphone comes with 3G and all other necessary features as a flagship device have.

DESIGN:

This smartphone comes in 5.0 inch display with a high pixel density of 294 ppi.This smartphone is made with IPS LCD Capacitive Touchscreen display with the screen resolution of 1080 720 x 1280 pixels. This smartphone display gives a good color detail and wonderful movie viewing experience .The dimensions and weight of Micromax CANVAS WIN W121 is not known .This touchscreen display provides multitouch. The display can reproduce up to 16 Million colors.

SOFTWARE FEATURES:

This smartphone runs with Microsoft Windows Phone 8 operating system and this device is planned to upgrade to Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 . The other software features are Photo viewer, Photo editor, Organizer ,etc. It contains no preloaded applications and these applications can be downloaded from the store.

CAMERA:

The Micromax CANVAS WIN W121 is powered by 8 MP camera ,by which we can capture clear and stunning images. The camera features includes Auto focus, Geo-tagging , Paronama, etc. The primary camera comes with Autofocus, which produce clear and stunning pictures with a resolution of 3264x2448 pixels. The 8 MP primary camera is capable of taking Full HD video at 1080p@30fps. The primary camera comes with LED Flash, while the secondary camera not. The secondary camera comes with 2 MP and is capable of recording. The primary camera provides Zooming option , by which we can take photos from any distance object.

HARDWARE :

The Micromax CANVAS WIN W121 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 [MSM8212] Chip. The 1.2 GHZ Quad Core Processor of this device gives a smooth experience and adapt itself to give a better multi-tasking. The graphics and picture quality of this device is enhanced with Adreno 302 Graphics processor. This phone comes with 1 GB RAM and the internal memory is available in 8 GB. With this 1 GB RAM we can able to play any HD games without any loss in frame rate in the display screen. The storage can be extended up to 32 GB through the microSD card slot. With this 32 GB of expandable storage we can able to install and download lots of app data, movies, pictures, music files, etc. The Micromax CANVAS WIN W121 is inbuilt with proximity, Ambient light sensor and Gravity Sensor. This device has a larger Li-ion 2000 mAh battery and works up to 8 hours of talk time, up to 150 hours of standby time. It has dual SIM support. It has FM radio and a 3.5mm earphone jack.

CONNECTIVIY

This device comes with Bluetooth 4.0 and this provides a faster file transfer. It has microUSB v 2.0 and it provides file transfer to PC via datacable and also it provides USB charging. With USB Tethering in this dvice, we can enable internet in PC from this device via USB datacable. It has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity and it is also having Wi-Fi Direct which enables devices to connect easily with one another for everything from file transfer to Internet connectivity. NFC(Near-field communication) which provides faster file transfer is not enabled in this device. It gives high speed internet in 3G mode (HSDPA - 21 Mbps ,HSUPA - 5.76 Mbps). It has A-GPS(Global Positioning System) which provides navigation system based on satellite that provides time information and whether condition based on different location.

MULTIMEDIA

This video playing formats supported in this device are MP4, 3GP, WMV and audio playing formats supported are Mp3, MID, AMR, AAC and WAV. This device supports voice calling and also it supports video calling which provides face to face interaction with the help of secondary camera.The browser installed in this device supports HTML5.
