FEATURES:

The HTC launched its new flagship device known as HTC Butterfly S. It is available in four colors namely Red, Gray, Black and White. This smartphone is available in 4G .This smartphone comes with a single SIM (Micro SIM).

DESIGN:

The Super LCD3 Capacitive Touch screen display of HTC Butterfly S comes with 5.0 inch with 441 ppi pixel density and 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The display is well protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. This smartphone has dimensions of 144.5 x 70.5 x 10.6 mm and 217 g in weight. The HD Super LCD3 display delivers a crystal clear picture. This display comes with two sensors namely Light sensor and Proximity sensor. This display of this device can reproduce up 16 million colors and this touchscreen display provides multi touch. This device comes with an attractive design with curved edges.

HARDWARE :

The HTC Butterfly S is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 Chip. The 1.9 GHZ Quad Core Processor of this device gives a smooth experience and adapt itself to give a better multi-tasking. The graphics and picture quality of this device is enhanced with Adreno 320 Graphics processor. This phone comes with 2 GB RAM and the internal memory is available in 16 GB. With this 2 GB RAM we can able to play any HD games without any loss in frame rate in the display screen. The storage can be extended up to 64 GB through the microSD card slot. With this 64 GB of expandable storage we can able to install and download lots of app data, movies, pictures, music files, etc. The HTC Butterfly S is inbuilt with Compass , Proximity Sensor, Gyro sensor , Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor. This device has a larger Li-Po 3200 mAh battery and has talk time Up to 659 hours(3G) and Up to 25 hours(3G). It has built-in FM Radio. It comes with 3.5 mm ear jack. The battery is not user replaceable.

CAMERA:

The HTC Butterfly S is powered by 4 MP Ultra Pixel Camera, by which we can take beautiful shots with more clarity. Autofocus ,Face detection, Smile detection, Geo tagging, HTC Zoe™ with Sequence Shot, Always Smile , Object Removal and Back-illuminated sensor are some of the camera features. The High Dynamic Range (HDR) provides a brighter counter light, when photos are taken in shaded region. The 4 MP Ultra Pixel primary Camera is capable of taking Full HD video at 1080p@30fps. Stereo sound recording is available for primary video recording. The primary camera can produce clear and stunning pictures with a resolution of 2688х1520 pixels. The secondary camera comes with 2.1 MP and is capable of recording video. The video recording features include High Dynamic Range mode, Continuous shooting and VideoPic and low motion video recording with variable speed playback. The primary camera comes with LED flash, while the secondary camera not. The 2.1 MP front camera comes with BSI Sensor and hence this camera helps to take beautiful selfies. The front camera has wide angle with High dynamic range mode capability.The aperture size of primary camera is F2.0 .

SOFTWARE FEATURES:

This smartphone runs with Android v 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system and this gives better multitasking between different apps. Some other important features are Photo viewer,Photo editor, Document viewer/editor, Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic and Dropbox (25 GB cloud storage). Some of the preinstalled applications in this smartphone are Google Plus, Voice Search, Google Play, HTC Apps - Sense TV, Google Now, Voice Actions, Calendar, Hangouts, etc. This phone contains HTC BLINKFEED application, by which we can stay connected to all breaking and our social networks in a single glance.

CONNECTIVIY

This device comes with Bluetooth 4.0 and this provides a faster file transfer. It has micro USB v 2.0 and it provides file transfer to PC via data cable and also it provides USB charging. With USB Tethering in this device, we can enable internet in PC from this device via USB data cable. It has Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac connectivity and it is also having Wi-Fi Direct which enables devices to connect easily with one another for everything from file transfer to Internet connectivity. Infrared port is available in this device. NFC(Near-field communication) which provides faster file transfer is available in this device. It gives high speed internet in both 3G and 4G mode. It has A-GPS(Global Positioning System) and GLONASS which provides navigation system based on satellite that provides time information and whether condition based on different location.

MULTIMEDIA

This video playing formats supported in this device are 3gp, 3g2, mp4, wmv (Windows Media Video 9), avi (MP4 ASP and MP3) and audio playing formats supported are aac, amr, ogg, m4a, mid, mp3, wav, wma (Windows Media Audio 9). This device supports voice calling and also it supports video calling which provides face to face interaction with the help of secondary camera. The browser installed in this device supports HTML5.
