Samsung Gear S Smartwatch is now available in India at Rs.27,900

   Samsung's recently announced a new Tizen-based Smartwatch named Gear S, which is now available in India at a price of Rs.27,900.The Samsung Gear S is unveiled at the first week of September. Unlike other smartwatches, the Samsung Gear S is a special one, as this device comes with a nano SIM card slot. So, to make calls and connect to internet, we do not need to pair this device with smartphone every time. Apart from this Gear S comes with Heart Rate sensor and UV sensor. The Gear S comes with 2.0 inch curved Super AMOLED display which provides a vivid screen view. This brighter screen has a resolution of 360 x 480 pixels and pixel density of approximately 300 ppi. This Super AMOLED display can reproduce up to 16 million colors and the also this display provides multitouch. This Smartwatch comes with the dimensions of 58.1 x 39.9 x 12.5 mm. The watch comes in two colors namely White and Blue Black. The Gear S with Blue Black color is 67 g in weight, while the White color weights 84 g. This curved design of this Smartwatch helps to fit comfortably around our wrist.

                               This watch comes with Dual Core 1.0 GHz processor with 512MB RAM, which is quiet nice for a Smartwatch. The internal memory of this watch is 4GB and so we can store a lot of files in this device. There is no card slot for memory expansion in this device. This watch supports voice calls and it supports both 2G and 3G networks. The Gear S with 300mAh Li-ion battery and this provides a good talk time and standby time and lasts up to 48 hours for typical usage. Some of the sensors in this device are Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer, Compass, UV,  Heart Rate and Ambient Light. This watch comes with IP67 Certified Dust and Water Resistant. 

                                The Gear S comes with the Tizen-based wearable platform Operating System, which provides a very nice user experience. Some important software features and options in this device are Contacts, Emails, Schedule, Weather, QWERTY Keyboard, News, Navigation, Find My Device,  Notifications, Messages, S Voice and Power Saving Mode. Some of the apps in this device are Music Player, Gallery, Nike+ Running, S Health and Samsung Gear Apps. By S voice feature, we can control Gear S by our voice commands. Some of the audio playing formats in this device are MP3, M4A, OGG and AAC. The alert types in this watch includes notifications, ringtones and vibration. This Smartwatch has Loudspeaker and  a 3.5mm ear jack support.

                               This watch comes with Bluetooth 4.1, by which can make faster file transfer and play play songs from phone via Bluetooth without loss in quality. We can make both 2G and 3G voice calls in this device. If there is no SIM card in the nano SIM card slot, we can make voice call by paring this Gear S with supported phones via Bluetooth. It has Wi-Fi b/g/n connectivity. The microUSB v2.0 provides file transfer between PC via data cable and also provides USB charging. It has A-GPS(Global Positioning System) and GLONASS which provides navigation system based on satellite that provides time information and whether condition based on different location. Hence, with these features, the Samsung Galaxy Gear S is surely going to rock in the market.
