The LAVA announced a new smartphone named LAVA IRIS X1. It is available in four colors namely Blue, Silver, Black and Pure White. This smartphone is available in 3G.This smartphone comes with a Dual SIM cards support .

DESIGN:

The IPS LCD Capacitive Touchscreen display of LAVA IRIS X1 comes with 4.5 inch with 218 ppi pixel density and 480 x 854 pixels resolution. This smartphone has dimensions of 134 x 66 x 8.9 mm and 138 g in weight. The IPS LCD display delivers a crystal clear picture. This display comes with two sensors namely Light sensor and Proximity sensor. This display of this device can reproduce up 16 million colors and this touchscreen display provides multi touch.

CAMERA:

The LAVA IRIS X1 is powered by 8 MP Camera, by which we can take photos with more clarity. The camera features includes Auto focus, Multi-Element Lens ,etc. The 8 MP primary Camera is capable of taking video at HD 1080p. The primary camera can produce clear and stunning pictures with a resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels. The secondary camera comes with 2 MP and is capable of recording video. The primary camera comes with Dual LED flash, while the secondary camera not. Digital Zoom option is available in the primary camera of this device.The video recording format is 3GP.

HARDWARE :

The LAVA IRIS X1 is powered by Broadcom BCM23550 Chip. The 1.2 GHZ Quad Core Processor of this device gives a smooth experience. The graphics and picture quality of this device is enhanced with Broadcom VideoCore IV Graphics processor. This phone comes with 1 GB RAM and the internal memory is available in 4 GB. With this 1 GB RAM we can able to play non-HD games without any loss in frame rate in the display screen. The storage can be extended up to 32 GB through the microSD card slot. With this 32 GB of expandable storage we can able to install and download lots of app data, movies, pictures, music files, etc. The LAVA IRIS X1 is Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor and Proximity sensor .This battery of this device is available in two variants. They are 1800mAh Li-Ion Battery & 2100mAh Li-Ion Battery. This provides good standby time and talk time. FM Radio is available with this device with recording. It comes with 3.5 mm ear jack.

SOFTWARE FEATURES:

This smartphone runs with Android v 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and this gives better multitasking between different apps and Perform tasks using voice commands by saying “Okay Google. Some other important features are Photo viewer,Photo editor, Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, Document Viewer and Document Editor. Some of the preinstalled applications in this smartphone are Google Plus, Maps, Play Books, Play Movies, Play Music, Play Store, YouTube, Google Settings, Search, Gmail,etc.

CONNECTIVIY

This device comes with Bluetooth 4.0 and this provides a faster file transfer. It has micro USB v 2.0 and it provides file transfer to PC via data cable and also it provides USB charging. With USB Tethering in this device, we can enable internet in PC from this device via USB data cable. It has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity and it is also having Wi-Fi Hotspot which enables devices to connect easily with one another for everything from file transfer to Internet connectivity. NFC(Near-field communication) which provides faster file transfer is not available in this device. It gives high speed internet in 3G. It has A-GPS(Global Positioning System) which provides navigation system based on satellite that provides time information and whether condition based on different location.

MULTIMEDIA

This video playing formats supported in this device are MPEG4, H.263, H.264 Codec Support and audio playing formats supported are MP3, MIDI, WAV, 3GP, AAC, AMR-WB, AAC+, AMR-NB, EAAC+. This device supports voice calling and also it supports video calling which provides face to face interaction with the help of secondary camera. The browser installed in this device supports HTML5.
