The Samsung Galaxy ALPHA is the another flagship smartphone from Samsung Galaxy family. It is available in five colors namely Frosted Gold, Sleek Silver, Scuba Blue, Charcoal Black and Dazzling White.

DESIGN:

This smartphone comes with a stylish design with slim sides. The Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display of Samsung Galaxy ALPHA comes with 4.7 inch with 312 ppi pixel density and 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The dust and water resistant display is well protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. This smartphone has dimensions of 132.4 x 65.5 x 6.7 mm and 115g in weight. The HD Super AMOLED display delivers a vivid screen view.

CAMERA:

The Samsung Galaxy ALPHA is powered by 12 MP CMOS camera ,by which we can capture clear and stunning images. The High Dynamic Range (HDR) provides a brighter counter light ,when photos are taken in shaded region. On the other hand, the selective focus of the S5 allows us to focus manually .In selective focus, we can blur the background and concentrate the main object in detail. The other camera features are Auto focus, Geo-tagging , Beauty Face, panorama, Shot & More, Face detection, Smile detection, Exposure compensation, Dual camera, Digital image stabilization, Panorama.The primary camera produce clear and stunning pictures with a resolution of 4608 x 2592 pixels. The 12MP primary camera is capable of taking 4K video at 2160p@30fps, Full HD video at 1080p@60fps and HD video at 720p@120fps. The secondary camera comes with 2.1MP and is capable of recording video at 1080p@30fps.

HARDWARE :

The Samsung Galaxy ALPHA is powered by Exynos 5 Octa 5430 Chip. The Octa Core (Quad 1.8GHz[Cortex-A15] + Quad 1.3GHz[Cortex-A7]) Processor Core Processor of this device gives a smooth experience and adapt itself to give a better multi-tasking. The graphics and picture quality of this device is enhanced with Mali-T628 MP6 Graphics processor. This phone comes with 2 GB RAM and the internal memory is available in 32GB. The storage cannot be extended ,as there is no microSD card card slot.The Samsung Galaxy ALPHA is inbuilt with proximity, Gesture Sensor, Fingerprint Sensor, compass,Gyro,Heart Rate Sensor, Ambient light sensor , Hall Sensor and Accelerometer. This device has a larger Li-ion 1860 mAh battery.

CONNECTIVIY

This device comes with Bluetooth 4.0 with Bluetooth profiles A2DP, AVRCP, DI, HFP, HID, HOGP, HSP, MAP, OPP, PAN, PBAP and this provides a faster file transfer. It has microUSB v 2.0 and it provides file transfer to PC via datacable and also it provides USB charging. With USB Tethering in this dvice, we can eble internet in PC from this device via USB datacable. It has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac HT80 , dual-band connectivity and it is also having Wi-Fi Direct which enables devices to connect easily with one another for everything from file transfer to Internet connectivity.NFC(Near-field communication) which provides faster file transfer is enabled in this device. It gives high speed internet with LTE- Cat6 upto 50 Mbps UL and 300 Mbps DL. It has A-GPS(Global Positioning System) and GLONASS which provides navigation system based on satellite that provides time information and whether condition based on different location.

SOFTWARE FEATURES:

This smartphone runs with Android v 4.4 KitKat operating system. The new Ultra Power Saving Mode feature in Samsung Galaxy ALPHA changes the screen to black and white and shuts down all unnecessary features and thus enhances the standby time of the battery. BY S HEALTH feature, we can set our goals and achieve them with the help of Galaxy ALPHA's pedometer and this will track our body condition, walking distance, calories, speed, duration, and so on and then produce accurate results. The finger scanner of Galaxy Alpha helps us to unlock our phone and make secure paypal payments by swiping our finger and typing the password is not needed when we are using this feature. The Download Booster feature in this smartphone use LTE and Wi-Fi together to download files even faster. The heart rate sensor near the primary camera of this device measures our heart rate, when we place our finger on the heart rate sensor and hence we can manage our health conditions accordingly. Some other important features are Photo viewer,Photo editor, Private Mode, Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic , Quick Connect and ANT+ support
